Have used it serveral times and it works just as advertised. Back in march of 10 we lost power for two days and crashed all 3 of our nanos. We were able to move most of the fish and corals to another location in a rubbermaid. We went home when the power came back on and the tanks were in bad shape. We emptied everything out, put in new live sand and live rock and added Dr. Tims, 24 hours later everything back in and it was all fine. We then moved in July of 10 and setup our 45 gallon and broke down the 20 gallon. Again, added live sand, rock and Dr. Tims and put everything in the tank. We have never had any problems with it and works. I recommend it.

I'm wondering if you can use it to the same effect or better than that of the MB7?

Great review Mnat. I've been thinking about purchasing this to cycle some dry rock in a new tank, after what you said I think it will work.

i tried the Marc wiess stuff one time and i didn't like it at all..... i stick with mb7 it's proven and gets the job done...;)

Also we used it on a 180g tank my club setup. We were moving a 75g and all the rock and inhabitants down into the 180. We were adding live rock that had been cycled some and threw everything in. We had no issues and no mini cycles.

now when you said you thre it in, was that instantly or did you give it a few days??

I am trying it on a new 120 set up, was leary of tossing fish in right away so opted for the ammonia. seems to have dropped to .5 and holding?? it has been 6 days now, and am ready to start moving stuff from the 75 into the 120
