Need some advice. Getting ready to cycle my 180 gallon tank with a sump. Ordered Dr. Tim's One and Only start-up bacteria but when I received it thr bottle was preety warm. Use a infrared thermometer and the bottle measured 95 degrees. Is it safe yo use I don't want to get everything started and have to go through the process again.

Possibly impossible to answer your question. You could take a gallon of saltwater, add some Dr. Tim’s bacteria and ammonia chloride and measure ammonia every day. If ammonia decreased and the nitrite level increased in a few days to a week, you have a good product. Biospira and Fritz turbo start are good alternatives.
