Hi everyone,

So my Dracula Goby was introduced to the tank last week. I used drip acclimation and hes been his normal hiding goby but today he’s just been sitting here not moving much. He ate this morning but hasn’t moved since. Is this odd behavior for a Dracula goby? My previous watchman was more active

Can you get a closer picture, taken under white light?

If the fish ate well this morning, that's a good sign, as lack of feeding response is typically one of the first symptoms you see with a serious fish problem.

Good to hear, I really hope it’s nothing.
Here’s one from the morning before he went to the back of the tank. He’s still just sitting in that same spot

Thanks!

Very normal. They don’t move about much from their favorite spot. Once it becomes comfortable and acquainted the new home, he will be more active

Watchman gobies sit. As long as it's not unresponsive to everything, it's nothing to worry about.

Looks fine in this picture, just be sure it doesn’t start breathing fast or sit it stops feeding.
