Hello everyone!

I’m posting this today because I want to make sure everything is okay. This morning, I noticed these cyst-like formations on one of my Favia polyps. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Mesenterial filaments sticking out. Usually means it's either damaged or not doing so well

i don’t know what could have caused that, as it is on top of the colony, my hermits could not have been able to reach this, i spotted an aiptasia on my rack and got rid of it? may it be caused by the aiptasia ?

it’s fully recovered from now on and it appeared only half a day
Usually a sign of stress for any number or reasons. Or coral warfare - it sensed something it didn’t like.

Once the issue is removed / resolved they go away
