Started dosing water glass this week. The Dino’s are not rampant but I see them gather on toadstool polyps and some random plastic surfaces, it takes most of the day before they gather up enough to notice. Sand is still super clean and film algae on the glass takes around 3-4 days to saturate the glass. Hoping to encourage some diatoms before the Dino’s take control.
Traded my biggest sinularia to a local reefer for some sps frags, goldenrod and rr Cadillac. My sps rock is now completed as far as coral additions. I think I’m pretty much done adding coral to this tank at least for now.

I’ve been dosing .1-.2ml of 41% water glass solution for about 6 days now. First signs of diatoms today. The Dino’s are looking about the same, mild and manageable but just trying to avoid a take over.
You’ve done a really great job with this tank! Really cool to see the progression.

Did some gardening this week. Only one green sinularia left in this tank. They grow so fast and cover other corals easily, and with decently high flow they spread out big time. The one I removed today had mounted itself to a Monti frag lol
