Drill Rubbermaid stock tank

Looking to get the 50 gallon stock tank for a refugium, but it does not come with a hole. Any reason why I can't use a normal wood drill bit on a flat area and drill the hole I need? Guessing it would not shatter/fracture, but wanted to be sure.
