What brand tank was it that you were able to drill it? I need a new qt tank and all information I am finding online is stating aqueon and marineland have tempered glass and not safe to cut. I NEED one asap as my seams have failed on my current qt tank.

I believe it was an aqueon. It was used but I think it was aqueon because I believe marineland uses black silicone.
