Hey guys/gals! Need a little help. How much bigger does the hole need to be than the bulkhead? I'm thinking it's a 1/4 inch bigger, but I just can't remember. Thanks for the help!

That would be a bit sloppy. Go to the BRS website and look for the table in plumbing under glass drill bits.

Make sure you know if its a schedule 40 or a schedule 80. And, follow the recommended hole size according to the brand or the part vendor.

I'd say less than that. I always try to make the opening as tight as possible. Not so tight that you have to push/screw the bulkhead through, but not much bigger.

Are you asking if you have have a 3/4" bulkhead what size hole saw do you need? The sites reefwiser are accurate. I just drilled a 3/4" bulkhead and needed a 1.5" hole saw and it was a tight fit.
