Drop .2

Hi just picked up a sm drop .2 and was curious about why I should run it 22 hours a day and not 24 hours a day. Is there any negative side effects from only shutting it off to clean it?

I have a 29 gallon tank with sump ~ 25-30 gallons of total water and feed a couple pinches of pellets a day and a cube of frozen once or twice a week.

Well you can do that with freshwater sometimes because it grows very easily, but SW seems to need more off time. Try it and see how it goes.
