Hi all, here are some details of the drop off tank that i make here in the UK.

The tank is made from 10mm acrylic, once i had worked out what size i wanted to build i then done a drawing so that i could then work out all of the Individual pieces that would make up the tank, so in total there is 8 pieces for the tank and 2 bits of white acrylic for the weir/return section.
It took me about a week to build the tank and at that point i was not to sure on how to filter the tank, so once i decided to put in the weir i was sorted but now that the tank has been made and tested i now think that i should have not put in the weir as this would then give me a bit bigger area for the shelf and could have run the drain and return vis the back of the tank instead.

Any questions then please ask.

Your drop off looks amazing. Been thinking of attempting a glass one, would this be possible or acrylic better?

I my experience with glass, I would think there work be a seem somewhere in the L shape need for the drop off. I am guessing that the glass can be cut for the L shape?

Yea I would have to cut the glass in the L shape otherwise I suspect the join to create an L woukd be a major weak point
