Dropped my skimmer......

Yeah water change on sunday and decided to clean up my reef octopus essence 130....dropped it and bottom of the body shattered in multiple spots

Emailed coralvue replace body is $213 i just assume buy a new one at $299 for that really peaves me though thats pretty rediculous

Anything else out there that may work better? Was really happy with it but may take the chance to try somthing new

I like somatic skimmers, otherwise I also like AquaMaxx cone skimmers.

I recently bought a lifereef and very impressed with it. It blows away my old RO 200 classic, and the simplicity skimmer I was using.

Buy a piece of acrylic from a local glas shop and use that as your bottom.

Acrylic glue if you can piece it all.
