Doing a dry run of my plumbing and this is the only location I can think of putting the gate valve on the down drain. However the back of the valve is resting on the back wall of the stand . Will that cause vibration? If so is there a way to remedy it? Thanks
( reefer 170, very limited space)

Shouldn't be an issue. There's nothing going on in a drain to cause the pipes to vibrate.
Just ensure it's not putting pressure on the bulkhead above.

If it does vibrate at all just wedge some rubber or cloth in there. My return pump has a Mr clean pad wedged next to it

It's the OP's drain plumbing - there's nothing to vibrate.

I recommend not wedging anything in there as it'll stress the bulkhead
I wouldn't expect any vibration but I don't know what kind of insane flow could be going through there. Some light cloth (within reason) won't hurt the bulkhead).

Wont be an issue as long as its not stressing bulkhead. If anything if you are worried. Put a thin piece of felt between it and stand and secure it with a strap just below valve to stand.
