DSC reef's 75 gallon adventure

Ours are at 15, 2 and soon to be....;)
DSC,
We've all been guilty of tinkering, when we've got a good thing going.

Thanks for sharing (lesson relearned :( for all of us) and guess you'll be staying with the "Black Bucket".

When's the due date for your son?

Freddie

Thanks for stopping by freddie. Black bucket is staying for sure. Our son is due around July 7th. Our 2 year old daughter was born July 6th.
Congrats!!!

Your family will be in "all" our thoughts and prayers for a smooth pregnancy.

Ha! My brother and I were born one day apart, one year apart. Always arguing about when to celebrate, who's the favorite, yada, yada . . . LOL

Well,
I was born on my fathers birthday :) and our oldest daughter missed it by three days :(

Almost... got three generations in there ;Wacky

A little update on the reef tank. Things have settled and alk has been very consistent. Noticing improvements on some montipora while others ended up being goners. Did some re scaping since we had to pull the tank apart to remove the peppermint shrimp, they got a taste for acans. All in all, things are chugging along.

DSC,
Glad things are back on the upswing.

Thanks for the update and love gazing ;Wideyed into your reef :)
Thanks freddie! Means a lot my friend.

Forgot to mention we got a new 100gpd RODI system, what a major improvement over the coralife unit we had. Just installed new halide bulbs courtesy of dave from hamilton lighting. There 20k bulbs really are amazing.

That mind trick monti is starting to encrust nicely. Should be ready for you soon :)
