Changing the clocks 2x /year seems antithetical to reef tank stability. If you keep your tank in a dark room such as a basement and have full systems automation, you probably don't think too much about this. I dose and feed manually and my tank is in the living room where we, well, live. My lights are automated, but I don't know yet if they adjust to time changes or not. I may lose an hour of prime viewing time in the evening if I do nothing. Do you alter any of your tank schedules in any way to accommodate this ridiculous semiannual exercise?

My tank lights are on an Apex Controller, which changes automatically with DST, so my lights don’t need to be changed.

I still hate this twice a year ritual, though, since many of my clocks and other timers don’t automatically change.
