Title.

I have an RO Buddie System I bought years ago. I have a small set up (45g single tank) so it works for it. Can I buy a 75 GPD RO membrane for the 50 GPD unit?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think as long as your RO membrane housing is the standard size, you can put whatever membrane you want in there.

My understanding is that the size of the membrane housing affects compatibility more than original GPD of the system.

I remember researching this a while ago because I have a 150GPD system originally but I considered going down to 75 when it came time to change RO cartridges.

To avoid questions and problems - I have a RO/Di unit (75 gph) I would be willing to send you - I have it posted in the R2R forum but have no activity. I have multiple pre filters, carbon filters and RODI medium As well as multiple 75 gpm RO membranes. If you're interested PM me. Sorry if this violates a rule I didn't look it up)
