Duncan coral questions

Turned up the light and it's slowly coming out
 
I hope i am wrong, but that duncan looks near death. Even when closed you should not see bare skeleton like that.

increased the lights and also raised the white up, it's been fully open all day today and yesterday. Also fed it yesterday
