So I started this hobby in July. Receievd lots of bumps and bruises along the way. Everything in my tank is doing really well as far as i know. Corals are growing new heads? Fish are doing well etc. Today my Duncan which i had grown since i started got big. I started to name it Medussa because the tentacles were getting really large and it looked very happy and healthy.

Today i noticed it all shriveled up and very sad.

Is thia normal? Is it dying? Here is a pic of what it looks like now and what it used to look like. I just noticed, could it have touched my Hammer? And it did something?

Thank you for your help!

David

It is very possible they touched each other. When the hammer is supper happy and Duncan is super happy they both get big and it’s possible they touched. What was the possible outcome?

If your first picture is at night it's probably fine otherwise I don't know. My duncan closes shortly after lights off then reopens and polyps remain small until lights on.

Ok so I think it touched the Hammer. Today it’s back to normal and I moved the hammer away! Will a Duncan sting a Zoa or vice versa?
