Hi all,
I tried looking for the answer to this in the forum but couldn't find it. I had a single head of Duncan completely retract into its skeleton for no apparent reason. All other corals, including a different color morph Duncan next to it, were fine. I thought it died and I was so bummed that I didn't have the heart to take it out. 1 week later and I peek in on the tank with the lights off and I noticed what looked like a ring of tiny baby heads around the head. By lights on, the baby heads retracted back into the skeleton. Today all the tiny baby heads come out like nothing happened.
I count at least 11 tiny heads where there was only 1 before. Is that normal?
