Hey guys.

have a Duncan who looks great and full during the day, but pretty plain colors.

at night it’s a lot prettier colors, but he shrinks way up and looks pretty pathetic under the blues.

is this just how Duncan’s roll, or can I help him look better at night?

That's how my duncan has rolled too for the past year. I just imagine it's sleeping. At first i was concerned but it's grown real well so i'm not really worried anymore. I will say tho my duncan is sensitive if i ever put my hand or changed my water chemistry, but it always opens back up strong after a few minutes. Moody i suppose..

That's absolutely normal. And is with many corals. You'll notice most LPS do this as well as softies such as zoa's, mushrooms etc .
