Duncan trouble

Can someone help me figure out what is going on with my Duncan's? At first I thought something burned them but as you can see nothing is around them.. the frogspawn is further away then it looks.. yesterday I saw a mushroom that was hanging onto the tentacles but can a mushroom do this?

I'm almost 100% sure that it got stung by the frogspawn. It's sweeper tentacles can reach 6 inches and even longer. This looks like a sting wound.

Crap.. I had to move my frogspawn because it was fighting my torch and won! I am running out of room to move things.. I don't want to move these frogspawns and hammers to high because they are doing so well where they are but like I said.. I'm out of options

I don't see any frogspawn in the picture? That torch that's there is close enough to send out a sweeper to it though.

Yea I had a frogspawn or torch next to a hammer.. the hammer won.. lol apparently here the torch is winning.. I have moved them but not real sure what to do. Everything needs light or flow or both and I'm out of room
