I've read on other posts of others experiencing the same thing. Had a Duncan retracted for probably a month or so while it sprouted about ten new heads. Started as 4. Is this to be expected each time it sprouts new heads? Was just surprised at how long it took for it to open back up again

I've not seen that happen. Mine look the same day to day (always open) and then I notice new heads have sprouted.
