Does anyone have a recommendation for a durable utility sink pump? I have to pump the drainage about 8 feet up. I try to minimize the grit that goes in but some is inevitable. The last two we’ve used have been flakey and have died within a year of using

Have you thought about just getting a small sump pump? There are designed to take more of a beating than a "reef" designed pump. Sicce makes a nice one if you are looking to keep it "reef".
