Hybrid RO/DI System Build

This is great information, thanks a bunch. I'm going to follow your setup. I just got all my packages in so I'll get to it in the next few weeks. In the meantime I'll go ahead and place my booster after the sediment and carbon filters. I'm on well water and it gets nasty very quick. I'm surprised I haven't ran into issues with it already.

The placement of the booster pump after the sediment filters is warranted for your source water. Booster pumps are resilient and can take a beating but we dont want to replace one after a couple of years if we can avoid it.
 
@ReeVo Hey man, I'm trying to place my booster pump after the sediment/carbon filters. Which line do I need to add it to? The Y fitting to the gauge is messing me up. Thanks.

@ReeVo I think I've figured it out. Let me know if you see anything wrong. The blue line coming out of the auto shut off, I just want to confirm that is the output that should be going to the DI stage, correct?

No worries man! Place the booster pump between the Y fitting and the filter.

Disconnect the tubing from the filter and Y fitting, run some longer tubing from the filter to the pump. From the pump back to the Y fitting.
 
@c4haskett That looks right to me! The blue line kinda through me off a bit but once i figured that is still your feed line, i knew it was correct.

BTW, whats the point of the T'ed off valve after the booster pump?

Dangit, just realized I tee'd off my drinking water 3/8 line in wrong place lol.

Thats odd. I mean i guess if you wanted to run another RO system or just have access to tap water, that would be useful. I would take it off and run straight tubing just to avoid any complexity and failure points.

No, that was my mistake. I Teed off there to go to my under sink tank for drinking water. I just fixed it.
