My LFS had this guy labeled as a dusky jawfish. Not sure if it is as most I've seen online definitely appear more brown whereas this guy was mostly black.

If it is a dusky, are there any special care requirements? My tank is 40 gallons and has sand bed that is about 1.5 - 2 inches deep which I think is deep enough for burrowing. Tank mates would include a pair of clown fish.

You might want to give him some coral rubble or small shells so he can line his burrows. I had one for years, great fish with a ton of personality. Mine ate anything that I offered him.
