@lion king I just wanted to check in with you with my baby lion! Shes doing amazing and very active. Ive gotten her to start eating bigger pieces of krill, but I spot feed her mysis shrimp, plankton, squid, and the krill. Im just paranoid because shes easily become my favorite fish and i want her to do well. She has grown some too in the month Ive had her! Sorry about the pictures, best I could get of her for now

Krill is not a food you want to be a dominant part of their diet, it really should be fed very sparingly. Krill contains a high amount of thiaminese, which binds vit B1, and will cause nutritional deficiencies that will result in premature death. Make sure not to feed too often and give at least a day of fasting between meals, as they mature feeding a couple of times a week is a good average.

Awesome thank you! I spot feed her every other day but she does “hunt” the food when I feed the rest of the tank. Is that okay for her to do?

Just make sure they get enough to eat on feeding day, as long as you are feeding smaller items it will be hard to overfeed. You should see a nice little bulge in the belly and they will grow fast to about 4-4.5".
