I'm considering add one of these to my 90 gallon. Anybody have experience with them? Will they go after smaller fish?

Mine was a model citizen but he recently quit eating and never started again. Lost him this past week. They are a complete mixed bag. Some will attack small fish and some won't. The key is keeping them well fed.

I used to have two, I now have one...one managed to get out and cats got it. I've had it for a couple years now, got it from a sponsor on here. Mine is in a 150 gallon, with a ton of live rock. I'm old school and still follow the fit as much live rock in as you can philosophy. My Golden Dwarf is probably just over a foot long, maybe bigger, but it rarely fully comes out for me to see his full body. He has a yellow tail that is about the same color as a yellow tang, which is really cool. It is in a mixed reef with all sorts of corals and my fish list is

2 x royal gramma
2 occelaris clowns
3 tangs
3 chromis
A few wrasses
Banggai cardinal

He absolutely does not bother any fish. The Grammas are a pair and one of them has stayed tiny for several years and he completely ignores them. He's actually more scared of the fish then they are of him. I feed mine once to twice a week, pieces of fresh gulf shrimp. I give home the food with a pair of very long forceps that I got from an aquarium supply website...I would probably take the food right out of my hand but I wouldn't want to get bit, and he can't see very well. One thing to consider, mine does like to dig out his lair by getting under a rock then shaking back and forth really fast. Make sure your rocks are fully secure before adding it. Though, I may not see his entire body very often, he enjoys watching me most of the day with his head sticking out of his lair most of the day. He is a lot more active at night though, and when he starts getting hungry he will be out in the open more. I would say that he is probably actually one of the best citizens in my community.

My LFS had a good price on them which got me interested. They seem like they would be an interesting addition to a tank.
