I added a piece of rock with zoas and a flower anenome on it yesterday (although it looks like a bubble tip). When I woke this morning I was greeted by dying corals, paralysed snails and conch, a dying wrasse. The only thing that was adrift yesterday was the phosphate level was a little high. Now it looks like the scallop is on it way out. I have changed the water but what else can I do? Any suggestions would be really helpful as I have battling all day with it. I can’t work out if it’s the zoas or the anenome that was the issue. The offending piece of rock has been moved into the old tank for now until I can workout what has caused the issue. The first two pictures are the offending rock and the second two are the worst corals. Thank you, as a newbie, I’m thrown.
Thank you

Paly poisoning?
Having spent most of the day researching, that is what I thought. Other than changing the water and taking the rock out, can’t think of anyway of bringing things back to life. The snails are still alive, they just can’t move, same with the conch and the scallop. The tube worm has lost its feathers.it was moving this morning although not so sure now. Very depressing. The tank was just starting to look good. All the other fish are ok.

Get carbon in there. And give back the anemone, your tank will have many more ups and downs that will make it an inhospitable place for it the next while until you learn how to keep it stable.

Scallops look nice, but I've never heard of anyone keeping them in captivity more than a couple months before they die.

1.2 phosphate? Is that accurate? That's not just a little off, it's off the charts off.
