Less than 12 hrs later we are crystal clear. Let the cycle begin....

Let me know if you need a BTA for your school tank. Ours split a couple of times, we now have 5 in the wife's 32 and my tank is still cycling so it will be a awhile before I can re-home some into it.

I will need one but not sure how soon I can put one in. I waited 3 months to put one in the bio cube we started with. But going to leave it there for the display in my wife’s class. Trying to grow reefs throughout the building so more kids get to experience them.

Tricky part will be figuring out how to get them off the rocks, I have seen a few threads and videos. It will be a learning experience!

Great looking build, and that cleared up quick. It took mine about 48 hrs and a cheap HOB to clear up. I used live sand so that may be the difference. My LFS was trying to sell me on the Hawaiian black sand; he said it really looks good in a tank. I didn't go with it because I really had not seen it used much; however, after seeing yours, I agree with him. Good choice!

When I got the one in the bio cube I actually took a hammer and screw driver and broke the rock until just a small piece of it was left and the put the BTA in my tank. It grabbed hold right where I put it and has never moved. I was prolly Lucky!!!

Nice looking nem. I have rbta and 1 gbta. You will probably get one of the rbta's since the other hasn't split yet.

How many tanks are you setting up? Nems split again. Up to 6 maybe 7. You might get more than 1 if you can use more than 1.

That’s awesome, I am setting up the 75, I’m sure it could hold 2. There is another teacher cycling a tank in his room now as well. We are trying to start a “REEF CLUB” in the school. Why is it splitting is that the way they reproduce?

It is how the reproduce. It's crazy, we had one years ago that never split, these guys must be happy! A reef club would be awesome, you should try to expand it, there isn't on in Wichita that I know of. It would be nice having a group for frag swaps.

Final tank remodel and reword, I think my OCD has been satiated. I like the printer stand conversion into control station. And finish matches tank closer than bookshelf did.
Looking good! I wish mine was that organized and that far along!
