I believe that the three iLink ports and the two 24v ports on the EB832 all run off of a single 100W power supply.

I currently have four Dos (8 heads), a Trident, and a TridentNP running off of my two EB832s. I'd have to trace the cables to see what exactly I have plugged into which EB832.

Would it be a bad idea to try to power my MP40s with the 24v ports? Would they exceed the output? I'd love to get rid of some bricks.

Has anyone powered their MP40 drivers using the 24v ports on their EB832s? If so what adapters/cables are you using?

I'm not sure on that issue. However, there is a thread on the forum about a "DC buddy" that gets rid of power bricks.

That looks fantastic, but it doesn't look like there has been an update to that thread in months and the website says sold out for both DCBuddy models.

I'd love to replace all of the bricks for my four Red Sea gyres, two Red Sea return pumps and my Red Sea skimmer pump with one of these, but it doesn't look like the ports are controllable with an Apex. Lack of Apex control is unfortunately a bit of a deal breaker for me.

It would have been even nicer if he had released the heavy duty version and I could replace the bricks for my four Red Sea LED160s and my two XR30s.

The number of power bricks on my big tank is just ridiculous.
