I have not but will keep that mind next time I need more. Just did a quick search and saw several well under $2 a pound

Its rock. Cant be too risky and speaking of risk, if it is NOT as described, you are entitled to your money back

Seems like it could be pretty expensive if you have to pay for shipping.

Depends on the Ebay rock some is good and some is bad.
Marco rocks used to sell on eBay... Matter of fact most if not all rock out there now is mined from the same place.

Beware of some of the man made rock sold.. It might be made is someones basement. Makes sure it is a name brand.

Didn’t realize there was like a name brand to look for sounds good.

Name brand would be like. . . . . Carib sea, aragalive, Marco, arc, rock N Reef and so forth

I got all of my dry rock from eBay.them I added a few shelf pieces from the LFS I was pretty happy with it. Some did come in stained brown and not bright white but I hosed it down and it looks fine after a few months growing coralline.
