I'm sure he's found what I did... I have an MP10 on a Reefer with 1/2" glass. Issue is the magnet isn't quite strong enough to hold the inside prop tightly to glass. It does hold well enough to slowly turn up speeds and run at up 75% (I've never gone higher) but if you go from 0 - Full tilt too quickly the inside mount will get tossed off the glass from the torque. That said I have kept mine and run it between 15-25% depending on the mode it's in and have a Gyre on the opposite end running at very low power. Other than magnet strength at high speeds it works great.

I experienced that with the older mp-10 but I just had my dry side replaced last week and that thing works like a champ. I have it on an 80 gallon deep plus rimless. The older one falls off like explained above

Berlibee, I have a custom cube that has a thick coat on the back glass to make it black. I tried hanging the MP 10 and it was only work in certain places which would limit the different locations I could place it. The person who bought says he has 2 that work on his 1/2 glass. So I guess the difference is the coating for the background.
