This is the main issue. I test mine every 12 months (it's on my maintenance schedule) and i see how long they can run the pump they are connected to. It shocking how quickly these batteries fall away from a good load charge.

If you test by running them all the way down you are shortening their life cycle.

I know this is an old thread. Quick question as I do not know how this all works. Why is this one as shown used above, better than this cheaper one which does 1.5A?
