I was cleaning my MP40 wet side, and the propeller detached from the base. Has anyone tried reattaching it with glue… or is this effectively broken now and I need to replace with a new wet side?

I agree to glue it and try. But my first thought was,,,, how nice and quiet that new wet side will be.

To answer the question on the title: yes, it’s broken. How old is it? If it’s relatively new then I would think E may send you a new one. If it’s old, probably time to replace it.

Ecotech sent me a new wet side after mine broke. It was a few months out of warranty. I also had issues with my battery backup a few months outside of the warranty and the replaced it. Definitely worth reaching out tonthem before you try DIWhy

They sent me new ones too and they were 5 years old. I was told it didn't matter they just wanted a serial number.

Thanks all for the replies. I’ll give ecotech a call this week. I’ve had some powerheads that are 3 years old and some that are close to a year old… don’t know which one this one is being that I mix them up.
