Ecotech QD and ES master/slave issues

I do not use mobius or live. All 4 units (1 QDmp40, 2 mp40es, 1 mp60es) have the lit up "W", so in theory, they should communicate with each other, right? As I go through the process, after resetting all systems and pressing mode and set to get the red/white/blue, then assigning the master (MP40QD) by pressing mode, it should flash blue/green....nope....it turns solid green and does not connect.

Why is this happening, and what is the resolution?

Can't help as I used to use live and now mobius but here's a bump and maybe someone can help out
