I have a kessil a360we tuna blue as a backup and they look identical. I'm not foolish enough to purchase the latest generation of overpriced light, hence why I didn't compare it to an a360x.

Nice try putting words in my mouth though.

This thread is funny. Who's stealing from who lol. Companies look towards China for cheaply made goods and freely give away their tech in exchange for cheap labor to increase their profit margins. Seems like both sides is taking advantage of each other's greed.

I can appreciate dataless opinions, but more often than not, they're just opinions. This is a similarly priced Gen 6 XR15 with all channels at 100 ghosted over the A8. The Gen 6 is narrower but does have a higher relative 420 bump and the red. Whites are obviously higher, too, placing the A8 is between the Pro and the Blue.

Regarding the Sky, maybe you meant that it looks nearly identical to the Gen 4 XR30 and ViparSpectra. This is the Sky over the Gen 4, both running their respective AB+ templates. Note the lower relative intensity of the Sky. This graph is scalled for PPFD.

@telegraham do you still have the A8 to test by any chance?

I have it, but given the $480 ReeFi Uno Pro 2.0 or the ReeFi Duo Extreme at $550, the A8, and associated risk, is unnecessary.

Is yours the A8 with Cree LEDs and the Meanwell power supply, or is it the A8se with the generic Chinese LEDs and power supply?

Same company just offering two similar lights at two different price points.
Yea I get that but.....different power supply, different diodes,Chinese only app ( what is the other one?) Chinese plug.....kind of stretches the def. of " similar" as well as the common use of se meaning 2nd edition.

Maybe " A8 light".

I'm curious as to which LEDs are assigned to which (of the 6) available channels. Are the Royal Blue (450nm?) LEDs all on their own channel specifically, or are they mixed in across channels with other blues? That's mostly what I'm after.

anychance you took a look at the a7 led (kessil knockoff) as well?

You should give us a review on the light. One of those telegraham reviews are priceless.

When there are lights out there like the Uno 2.0 Pro, this light is too risky of a purchase. I'm not interested in testing this thing beyond what I've already shared. I don't want any "well telegraham said it performed well" 10 minutes after the light gave up the ghost.
