Ecotech Radion G5 Sunrise/Sunset Points

Getting some weird behavior with my lights - does anyone know what the sunrise/sunset points actually do on the schedule? Can you adjust all channels on either side of them, or do points outside of sunrise and sunset have some special restrictions or behaviors?

I've got the Gen 3's rather than the Gen 5's. Are these your first radions, or are these acting differently than radions of previous generations?
