Eel ID

Hey guys I've been looking on the web but i can't find any pictures that are similar to the the eel I have. My buddy has had him for a few years and I'm eel sitting for him while he moves for a few months. If anybody is familiar with the type of eel this is I'd appreciate and knowledge shared.

I think from the looks it could be a gold spotted moray eel. Don't take my word though haha.
