Eel in reef tank?

I think I have a real life example of what this looks like, maybe more think of everything as a 2:1 scale model except the eel.

What the heck is a 18g tank look like anyway? I'll keep a small eel in a 3 foot tank for maybe a month for qt but it's not their vibe. You can tell by the difference in behavior when it's in a bigger tank.

It had the face of a eel. Two black eyes and mouth. I’m going to stay up late after lights out to try and catch a photo. Never seen a hitchhiker that looks like that. I hope it’s a blenny.

My 18 gallon is actually an 18.5 gallon but adding the .5 to 18 always confuses people so I just say 18 gallon, is a little weird cause it's shipped into my lfs from China but it's maybe like 30 inches long?

My eels definitely considerably smaller than yours what types are yours? Never seen the Grey one before

If I didn't have the experience and taken the time before to research, wouldn't the eel probably be featured in one of the other forums like "my eel died after 4 days" (below) that I would be writing? Yeah... didn't happen.. fish is fine and everything's going as planned... why is the fish community so confident that things HAVE to be done one way? Eel police?
