Small snowflake eel swam into powerhead. Was inside for about 10-15 seconds. I turned it off and pulled him out with some tongs. I assumed he was gonna be dead. Instead he pulled out of the tongs and swam into the holes of my BRS Pukani rock.
If he does die in there which means I can’t get him out, what are the odds of a tank crash.

Tank is 6 months old
Maintaining
5ppm nitrate
.02 phosphate
added 1cup of Matrix carbon into my sump as a precaution

Total system volume is 113 gallons.

Wow! Was it sliced up? If not, should be ok.

Not at all. Didn’t see any flesh peeled away at all. It’s almost as if he was spinning around the shaft like a wild carnival ride, looked like he was super dizzy, when I lifted up he was exposed to air then just took off.

You said small eel, that guy is tiny. I don’t think it will cause a crash.
