It was stuck to the powerhead when I got home. Decided it was past saving. May be the only fish I'll ever bury.


Theory:
Seeing as this tank has had no sign of disease. No fish, coral, inverts, rocks etc have been added in the last several months some water condition change must have brought out a disease.

Could my large engineer goby dying and me not finding it cause a massive nutrient I cease that started the disease that killed the angel, clown fish, and fox?

Dusky wrasse
Lunar wrasse
Bird wrasse

Falco hawkfish

All are eating well, no flashing, yawning, or signs of skin parasites. Hopefully this is all over. QT seems useless as in tank obviously failed and trying to remove all the fish when the rocks are glued is intimidating. Maybe these fish are all fairly immune.

If it is over then what? Doesn't feel right to add more fish. Especially not angel, butterfly, tangs.

Sorry to hear.

I don’t think the dead engineer goby caused a cascade event: if it had been severe enough to do that, the tank would have been cloudy and most likely smelly.
