I hear a lot of talk about alk and Ca and what levels, how to dose, best method, cost comparisons and the like.. but I haven't heard much on the effects of alk and Ca on the fish. Does it affect them much? Do the swings? Are there any things to watch out for (concerning fish) while we are attempting to balance our chemicals...?

*in my own experience I have found that fish seem to be far easier than coral.. so since my waters good for coral it's been generally good for the fish.... (maybe I've been lucky, idk)

anyone have anything here? jus curious..

I could only imagine that if you over dosed your alk supplement the sudden ph swing could shock them. Also the precipitate from dosing could raise your salinty too high.
