Making a thread because I haven't seen any that fit my situation.

Has anyone else had an eheim auto feeder that stopped feeding at the set time but still feeds if the feed button is pressed? I made sure the the arrow is present for each set feed time, but nothing happens. I tried changing the batteries, but that didn't help either.

I have several different feeders, one of them being the Eheim so I'm not positive I'm thinking of the right one...

I believe Eheim can get the mode switched so even though it's set, the auto fees function may be turned off. If I remember correctly there are two or 3 different modes to choose from.

On this model the manual says to press the mode button until the current time is showing

I included a picture of the model. If I press mode it cycles between current time and feed time 1,2,3,4. Per the instructions, the mode has to be set on current time which it is.

can you program a feed like two minutes away and do a video showing the current time, feed setting, and show what it does when it gets to the configured time?

Unfortunately not. It randomly started working again. But to answer potential questions verbally, the designated time would just come and go. No attempt to rotate the container (not even a twitch). The screen didn't dim any or briefly flicker like the batteries might be dead, plus that was ruled out when it started functioning correctly again.

Did you figure this out? I've run my feeder without problem for years but for the second time in as many months, my feeding settings simply disappear As it's set to feed when I'm away at work, I don't usually notice it until my nutrients start dropping.
