I been looking at this one at the store for weeks. I finally got it. Big green and healthy. I know corals take time to get happy in a tank but want to be pro active. Parameters perfect 420 calcium kh 10 ph 8.2 no ammonia.

I have current USA 48” duel pro lights. Not the strongest but my frog spawn thrives trumpets acan etc. my zoas did not last long though maybe a two months. It in the sand bed slightly shaded but I did move it back today a little more under the rock. It started to open first day yesterday after 4 hour acclamation under no light. This morning was slightly open. Left early lights never hit full power today but it’s closed up. Any advice would be appreciated as I don’t want to throw $90 in the garbage. Thank you.
First pic not great but kinda shows it open last night but lots of blue lighting. Was twice as big in the store. Second pic taken moments ago.

How long ago did you get it ?
Corals need to acclimate to new tanks

Just got it. Just want to be prepared. I get nervous since this is my most expensive coral.

That it explains why it’s closed up. Give it time

How is it doing ?
