Is this an elegance coral? I've had it for just over a week. If it is it doesnt expand during the day? Ive seen a little at night. Water parameters are ite & ate & ammon 0. PH 8 sg 1.021 slowly increasing calcium 420 dk 9

From what I can tell, it looks like an elegance

I agree with the above and this is a elegance

I wanted an elegance so I knew what they looked like. That's why I asked about that one since it wasnt inflating.

Pearl bubble coral for sure. I have one going on 8 years. They will inflate to more than twice their size. They also have deadly sweepers. Mine is about the size of a grapefruit at skeleton but can inflate to about the size of a child's football. The stingers can get to over 4" and has taken down several of my corals. But when it expands it makes just drop your jaw.

I paid more for my pearl coral than elegance coral. Elegance corals are common. You don't see pearl corals for sale often.

Thanks everyone. What would be a good placement in a tank for a pearl coral?

I have mine on bed 30" below 250 mh. But slowly got mine use to light. But i think they are like the euphyllia family in care. But they are not compatible with euphyllia and will easily kill them. They also have very large mouths mine loved to take in mysis and silver side pieces.
