With the Aussie I have had good succsess. They are alot more hardy than the Indo species.I have no secrets, just keep them happy, good light, some food, and thats it.

hmm so I thought,

I have a huge tank with LPS, colonies of torchs, hammer ect. No luck with aussies elegances. Per a suggestion of a friend I fragged a colony that didnt look great. I got it online and when it arrived it looked great for a few days. Parms are : calc 440, alk10, salinity 1.025, mag 1400

I fragged it into 4 parts yesterday, they dont come out at all in the light, tonight in the dark they were out and look good, not great but good

I recall that either indo or aussie wanted more light than the other, does anyone know which?

Thanks

If Im not mistaken,it the aussie ones.I dont remember though.

not to hijack the thread but is this an aussie or indo?
i dont feed it...i got it from a fellow reefer who has it for 2 or so years...its receiving a lot of light and just light flow...

Ive had mine for over two years. It is gettng really big. As long as it has some full light on it, it thrives. I have kept mine half in and half out of a cave.

very nice

I am interested in anyone that gets them mail order... and how they acclimate them
