I finally caught this little guy eating my sps. I've been seening him up against the corals, usually just picking at any algae he can find around the base. Then corals started showing polyp loss. Water check seems good, nothing changed. Then i caught him latched on to one, just going to town eating the polyps. He's in my sump now, where he can eat all the algae he wants.

I have a tank full of Bubble algae and still my Emeralds rather hang out where I dont want them then to eat it..
One of them used to hang on my Frogskin Acro, never saw him eat on it or really do anything other then just sit there, but it RTN like two days after so guess its a possibility the Emerald bothered the Acro too much.

I have heard they can be hit or miss, guess we both missed! :)

Yup. When algae is sparse in the DT I’ve caught mine munching on coral.
Thanks for the reply. I've had him for about a year. He's doubled in size. Use to never see him, would only come out at night, but lately he's gotten really brave, and is out all the time munching on my corals.

Yes, i think we did. Really nice Acro of yours, i hope it survived. He's ate polyps on at least three of mine, but i think there gonna be ok. I've got about 5 pounds of red ogo algae in my sump. I know he loves that stuff, so maybe he'll be happy there.
