During my water change, my ATO accidentally dumped a bunch of Kalkwasser into my DT.

My Alk went from 8.1 to 9.2 just like that.

What do I do???

That's not a huge swing, people who dose by hand can see that on a daily basis.

I would just top off with regular water, not kalk, for a day or two and let it drop back down on its own.

Thanks. I tend to overreact. Everyone is happy I’m going to do nothing. Just reset ATO to a weak kalk solution and call this my “new normal “ and try to maintain pH 8.3, alk 9.0 salinity 1.025 (up from 1.024 this morning)
Lots of changes in chemistry today, but I’m within acceptable ranges and everyone will acclimate and thrive with stability going forward.

Thanks R2R!!!
