Bring the copper level up slowly over several days. Incremental doses morning afternoon and evening. Don’t go by the package directions. And test carefully. Run a log of dosages and test results.

Just curious why would I not go by the manufacturer suggested amounts for salt water dosing?

... it says bring it up to 0.25 then 48 hours later bring it up another 0.25 which would bring it up to 0.5 within 2 days....

Well all is good so far this morning... again I just followed the instructions on the bottle and website (which are the same) for the marine version ans brought it up to 0.25mg/l.... everyone is acting so far the same as yesterday so hopefully they will be ok
