My (semi-juvenile, 4-5") emperor angel seems to only want to eat garlic seaweed sheets. It used to take some garlic dipped pellets but now just investigates them and ignores... I have tried Flakes, Dry Pellets, Frozen Squid, Frozen Shrimp, Frozen angel mix... not interested in any of them.
But if i put a seaweed sheet in he loves it... I could feed him from my hand even... or if i hang it on the clip he even lets me pet him while he takes it from the clip....

My Majestic eats everything i put in there though.... (Adult)

Thoughts?

Is your juvenile in qt or the main system with other fish? Sometimes it takes others to show them that what your feeding is good/start the hunger instinct. Also, try clam on the half shell, the emperors I previously had love to pick. I also put a piece of squid on the clip with the nori for the chance of a mixed salad which worked too.

90gal Main tank, but only things in there are the 2 angels. i separated my inverts because decided to hypo the angels a while (2 mos) back. Instead of re-introducing everyone to that tank im building a new 150.

K. Is the majestic a aggressive eater? Basically does he bolt thru the tank catching every last drop or is he a slow eater? My angels were with tangs and it was eat or starve, which the angels learned quick to eat asap. I'd try the half shell trick of clam 1st, once they ate it, drop some pellets in the shell. The shell will possibly turn into a dinner plate for the time being.

I would say, she is an aggressive eater, but she def does not eat everything... i throw enough that it falls, they both go and revisit it at the bottom and she isn't stealing it from him... hes def gone down, stared at it or picked at it and swims away and she will come later to grab it. (she majestic, he Emperor)
I thought to try the eat or starve method, yesterday put pellets and flakes at different times but no seaweed yesterday. He ignored everything but is def swimming around looking for the seaweed... Been picking at rocks today, still haven't given him any seaweed, i figure by evening time (7pm) if he hasn't eaten anything i would give him some sea weed....

Definitely sounds good that he is looking on the rocks and for the seaweed. Keep the updates coming.
