I am noticing my emperor angel is gilling faster than usual for the past 3-4 days. NO new additions. I had him for 18 months It behaves normal and eats normal other fishes are okay .

Another thing is one gill is faster than the other gill sometimes. I suspected flukes and dosed prazipro but I didn't see any difference. Any ideas?

Your other thread was just answered.
It is not normal rate nor labored. I saw the fish at the end going up to the surface of water and this along with breathing suggests either flukes or elevated ammonia and/or nitrate levels.
If fish appears to yawn, has imflamed gills, scratching against objects and showing loss of appetite, it may be flukes.
What is your ammona and nitrate level and what test kits are you using ?
Is the fish eating and what are you feeding ?
